Fighting Fifth Small Business & Community Council

Congresswoman Nikema Williams is committed to fostering a stronger, more equitable business ecosystem.

To that end, The Fighting Fifth Small Business Council is a space to elevate your voice, share your lived experiences, and help shape federal policy that directly impacts our community. Through monthly meetings, listening sessions, policy roundtables, and resource events, we’ll work together to address challenges, unlock opportunities, and ensure that small businesses—not only survive—but thrive.

Apply to join the GA-05 Small Business & Community Council to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, engage in quarterly meetings, share your perspective, and help shape conversations around the future of our local business community. Whether you’re looking to grow your network, access resources, or make your voice heard, we invite you to get involved.

Council members will be asked to participate in quarterly meetings and discussions focused on:

  • Sharing perspectives on the current state of small business
  • Identifying barriers to growth and access to resources
  • Learning about federal programs and policy updates
  • Connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and community leaders
  • Helping inform conversations around policies affecting the local business ecosystem

We encourage applications from business owners who are passionate about strengthening Georgia’s Fighting Fifth District’s small business community and contributing their perspectives and experiences to ongoing conversations around economic growth and opportunity.
