The Fighting Fifth
My work centers on serving the people and spirit of the Fighting Fifth first, including the Fifth District’s legacy as the cradle of the civil rights movement. Our district is built by all of our communities, including the cities of Atlanta, Brookhaven, College Park, Decatur, East Point, Forest Park, Lake City, Morrow and South Fulton, and we are proud to be home to world-class institutions of higher education, the busiest airport in the world and advocates, activists and leaders in every sphere. Folks are right when they say that we influence everything.
