WASHINGTON Today, Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) announced she received a perfect score from Foreign Policy for America (FP4A) on her Legislative Scorecard for the 117th Congress. FP4A’s Scorecard equips citizens with information to understand how their representatives in Congress are voting on key national security issues, and serves as a tool so they might join us in ensuring Congress works to uphold a values-based foreign policy. Developed with input from a broad coalition of partner organizations, thought leaders, and issue experts, the FP4A Scorecard also serves as a tool for building consensus and strengthening collective advocacy on the important national security challenges of our time.

Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) said:

“I will always fight for marginalized people—no matter what country they may live in. I’ve traveled across the globe meeting women imprisoned for being women and people fighting to live in their own democratic country. What’s clear is that so many of the challenges facing America are experienced abroad. But, I know that American values can be a force for good and I will do everything I can to improve lives beyond our borders.”

Andrew Albertson, Executive Director at Foreign Policy for America said:

“In her very first term and as Freshman Class President for the 117th Congress, Representative Williams showed what it means to lead by example. We’re grateful for her commitment to delivering a foreign policy that works for all of us.”

17 Senators and 46 Members of the House received perfect scores in the 117th Congress. A full list can be found here
