“After 22 days of chaos and disarray, every House Republican just voted for MAGA extremist Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. As the lead architect of the plot to overturn the 2020 election, he attempted to silence the voices of Georgians. Slashing Social Security and Medicare are the top of his agenda. He wants a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions. This is not what the American people need. House Democrats will continue to stand firm against the extreme MAGA agenda, while working to get things done for the people.”
