(ATLANTA) – Today, Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) issued the following statement on the passing of Planned Parenthood Southeast’s former President & CEO, Kay Scott.
Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) said:
“Kay Scott changed my life. Kay gave a teacher with no professional political experience a chance to fight for the rights of women and families. I learned so much under her selfless leadership as CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeast. She exemplified the phrase ‘women helping women’ with over 30 years of leadership of Planned Parenthood Southeast. Kay was a legend and a force; I will forever be grateful for her love and support.”
