Congresswoman Nikema Williams Statement on the Two Year Anniversary of October 7th
WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) released the following statement on the two year anniversary of October 7th:
Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) said:
“Today marks two years since the horrific terrorist attack by Hamas that led to the deaths of nearly 1,200 people, including 46 Americans, and the kidnapping of more than 240 Israelis. On this day, we embrace the victims’ families and join the world in mourning the innocent lives lost on October 7th.
Leslie, Carter, and I pray for the return of every hostage, an end to this humanitarian crisis, and a path forward to lasting and sustainable peace in the region. We hold onto hope that ongoing negotiations will lead to meaningful progress and the beginning of a more peaceful future for all.”
