Republicans understood the urgency of this moment, yet still for months chose to play political games and block this critical foreign aid. I voted yes to protect our national security, stand with our allies, and defend humanity by delivering desperately needed humanitarian aid. Let’s be clear: once again, Democrats put people over politics to protect safety, freedom and democracy across the globe.”
