Working For All Veterans

Our veterans make a profound commitment to our country, prepared to lay down their lives in service. When our veterans return home, they should not face barriers to reentering civilian life. In Congress, I will work for a future where no veteran has to sleep on the street and no veteran struggles to receive the medical care and benefits they deserve.

I introduced the Return Home to Housing Act to increase the supply of housing to unhoused veterans in need.  Unfortunately, the Fifth Congressional District has some of the worst examples of housing injustice, but I won’t stop working to increase access to dignified housing for everyone, especially those who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
